The Democratic campaign in Weher county, as well as tlio state, will bo opened in Ogden tomorrow to-morrow afternoon, local Democrats contend, con-tend, with the arrival of William Jen-ning:) Jen-ning:) Bryan, former secretary of state, and the Bryan meeting at the Alham-fora Alham-fora theater. Tuesday has been designated desig-nated by the Ogden campaign committee commit-tee as "Bryan Day1' in northern Utah and representatives of electric lines and railroads repurted today that the announcement an-nouncement of excursion rates had brought indications of a large attendance attend-ance from outside points. Accord in p: to the arrangements announced an-nounced today by S. P. Dobb. vice chairman of the Democratic campaign committee, Mr. Bryan will arrive from the west on Southern Pacific train No. 20 at 12 p. m. The Xchraskan is traveling in a private car attached to the Pacific limited. Ilo will lie met here by a reception committee of more than 100 "Weber county Democrats and also prominent Salt Lake members of the party, including Simon Bamberger, candidate for governor, and Mathonihah Thomas, state chairman. Upon his arrival Mr. Brvan will be escorted to the Reed hotel for luncheon and a rest. The meeting in the Al-hambra Al-hambra theater is scheduled for 2 :30 o 'clock. Soon after the meeting Mr. Bryan will leave for Salt Lake City to speak there in the evening. |
