Show MONTICELLO TO GET JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL Necessary Money Is Assured by Citizens Citi-zens and New Institution Is to Be Authorized by State. As a result of encouragement lent by Dr. K. G. Cowans, state superintendent of public instruction, and Professor Mosiah Hall, sta te high school Inspector, Monti -cello is assured a junior high school this year. The prime movers on the ground were, among others. Mrs. N'epnl Bailey aud Mrs. J. W Palmer, who presented tne original petition, together with letters from the wtato of ficiols to the district school board. Assurances of financial support were given. When it wan assured that SlTn'ii) could be raised to assist in finaii'dng the movement, move-ment, the school board authorized 'be opening of the school thin fall. The i movement also had the support of Super- i intendent J. B. Harris.
