Show MASTER KEY WILL ESliEOPlIllS . Another Beaver County Property to Start Work With Two Shifts. Plans are under -way whereby the Master Key Mining company, the property prop-erty of which is located in the Star district dis-trict of Beaver county, will be financed and two shifts of miners put to work in the near future, according to A. G. Gutheil, president of the company, who is in Salt Lake on mining business. The work of sinking a new shaft on the Beaver Star claim No. 1 is to be started and pushed ahead as rapidly as possible. possi-ble. Tho holdings of the company consist of seven claims, five of which are in the process of patent. The group is bounded on the north and east by the J.Ionzonite and the Cedar Extension, on tho east bv the Leonora and on the couth by the Hoosier Boy and the Pa-3oma Pa-3oma Extension company's ground. About 300 feet from the south end of the Beaver Star No. 1 claim there is a ehowing of lead-silver ore which occurs in a bedding of gray soluble limestone that corresponds to' the strike of the .Hoosier Bov fissuro. At a point about 600 feet north of tho Hoosier Boy shaft and near the west side line of the Beaver Bea-ver Star claim No. 2 is a fissure running run-ning easterly and westerly that shows lead-silver ore. Fifty feet to the south and parallel to this fissure is an altered freen porphyry dike. In the center of he Beaver Star claim and about 500 feet from tho north end line a vertical shaft has been sunk to a depth of sixty feet. A crosscut from the bottom of the shaft driven ten feet to the west cut a north-south fault plane from which $60 ore has been taken. One hundred feet to the south of this shaft is an incline in-cline shaft down thirty feet on a northeasterly north-easterly and southwesterly fissure from which $100 ore has been "taken. The company is capitalized for 1,000,-OO0 1,000,-OO0 shares, par value 1 cent, and about 480.000 shares have boen issued. A. G. Gutheil is president, C. W. Reese is vice president, G. M. Sullivan is secretary-treasurer, secretary-treasurer, who, with Henry Barney and A. J. Mooney, form the directorate. |
