Show ONLY 45 CASES IN NEW YORK OUTSIDE THE GREATER CITY ALBANY. N. Y., July 7. According to reports received at state health department depart-ment headquarters up to 6 o'clock to- ; night, there are only forty-five cases of j infantile paralysis in the state outside of Greater New York. Eight new cases were reported during the forenoon, but the fact that no reports of new cases reached the state headquarters during the afternoon strengthened the belief of officials that the disease would not reach the epidemic stage up-state. Word was received from the New York City health authorities late today that no children would be permitted to leave the city for "fresh air camps" unless they had been examined and found without infection. |
