Show CHARGES AGAINST BURNS TO BE PRESSED NEW YORK, July 7. District Attorney At-torney Swann announced today that he had reconsidered his determination not to press the charges against William J. Burns, the detective, and Martin Egan, , connected with J. P. Morgan & Co., resulting re-sulting from the methods employed by them ju tracing " leaks' from the Morgan ofTiees of information relating to munitions contracts. Burns ana Egan were held for trial on a charge of entering the law offices of Seymour &, Seymour. "The important disclosures uncovered! by Burns will be presented to the court," Mr. Swann said. "While the results re-sults may be commendable the methods used are open to serious criticism, and because of the present uneasiness in business circles over the wire tapping situation I believe some court should pass upon the question." |
