Show ORPHANAGE CHILDREN GRATEFUL TO ELKS Secretary of Lodge Receives Many Letters Let-ters Thanking Him for Co'-irteies. That the chiMren of tho Krarns-Pt. Ann's orphanage appreciate the treat' ment ac:orlcd them by the local order of Elks is proven by the number of letters let-ters that Secretary Thomas Homer has received from the orphanage. Upward of 100 children have written to the secretary sec-retary thanking the Elks through him for fhe good time they were given on September 10. The following letter, picked at random ran-dom from the number received by Mr. Homer, gives an idea of how the children chil-dren feel over the night's outing. Dear Friend Mr. Homer and Brother Elks: "V all enioyed the ride lost night very mm. n, and I think it is only just to write and thank you for all the kindness you showed us. From the time I left until un-til I returned every moment seemed to be more en joynble, t heref ore I must thank you all. and especially Mr. Taylor, in whose auto I had the pleasure of ridi ng.
