The following most remarkable human document is absolutely, absolute-ly, authentic. but for obvious reasons I am unable to reveal the real names of the persons concerned. It is a letter sent by a French Red Cross nurse to the mother of a wounded German soldier in her care. The letter follows; Madame Your son is seriously wounded. His life depends entirely on the assiduous care of myself, his nurse. While at his bedside I think of my own son who, lyinj helpless on a battlefield, bat-tlefield, only slightly wounded, was cowardly finished by a revolver bullet bv one of your soldiers, perhaps even by your own son. now under my care.
