Colonel Loose said that no ore shipments were being made and that none would be made until the metals market warranted a steady extraction. He was of the opinion, however, that within a very short time the property would be operating with a full force of men. The copper deposits in the lower workings work-ings have been opened up extenMvely and there is no occasion to do more work in that portion of the property while settlements for the metal are being be-ing held up. No definite date has bc-n set lor starting shipments from the mine, though the management expects that it will start the silver-lea) product pro-duct to the marKct within a short tune. No plans for mill eou-truetioa to treat the lower grade pr.iduct are being be-ing diseusicd, a.-. Colonel Looe said that thev had both copper and lead ore, which they expected to mill at tne mine some dav, but as vet their engineers engi-neers had seen nothing that would apply ap-ply to ore of both characters with the same equipment. The low-grade copper cop-per produrt is the largest toniK'.ge m the mine and arrangements have bc-n completed for installing a plant as .oon as suitable appliances can be founi. I |
