A number of the most prominent automobile au-tomobile agents in town have asked for exhibition space at the state fair for several vears and Secretary Ensign is in touch" with eight or ten o the local dealers, and it is expected all of them will exhibit their new models at this year 's fair. It is believed that the automobile building will prove one of the most popular pop-ular attractions of the entire exposition. exposi-tion. It will afford out-of -tow;n visitors vis-itors an excellent opportunity of viewing view-ing the season's latest models in automobiles, au-tomobiles, and at the same time mai.y of the dealers are planning to exhibit the best of their used cars, with the idea of interesting possible out-of-town customers in these motor cars. The "better babies" contest for this year's fair looms bigger and bigger as tho date for the opeuing of the exhibition exhibi-tion approaches. From all indications the entries will be more numerous than ever before, and as an extra feature the directors have decided to offer a prize for the best show window in down-town stores decorated with baby clothos exclusively ex-clusively during fair week. A large number of merchants have signified their w-illingness to so decorate their windows during that week and the fail-directors fail-directors yestordav decided to ask three prominent Salt Lake men to serve as iudges of the best babv clothes window. These men are D. 'E. Burley, E. B. Wicks and Professor J. B. Toronto, formerly for-merly of the University of Utah. |
