Show Special Music at American. .Easter Sunday will bo observed at tho Amorican theator in an interesting manner. Tho largo concort orchestra of tho big playhouso will render a splendid selection from "Cavalleria Ttusticana," including tho famous and beautiful "Eastor Mllsc,, from tho well-known opera by Mascagni. Mrs. Delia Daynes Hills," popular local soprano, so-prano, will bo Ihcard in tho solo part of tho iEastor music, accompanied by tho orchestra under tho leadership of Professor J. J. McClellan. The special programme will be given during Sunday evening. Tho usual organ recitals of Tuesday and Wednesday evenings were enthusiastically received, Organist McClellan Mc-Clellan presiding at tho organ, and being be-ing compelled to respond to warm on-cores on-cores on each night. Professor Theo-doro Theo-doro Pcresina of the Thomas orchestra, Chicago, tho Philadelphia orchestra and a well-known teacher of tho violin in Chicago for many years, has been associated with the orchestra during the past week, and will bo heard in solo with accompaniment by Mr. McClellan, ns woll as iby tho orchestra, in tho near future. |
