Show Social Ajffalrs in Tooele. Special to The Tribune. TOOELE. April 11. Mr. and Mrs. W T. Clemo entertained a few of their friends at cards Friday evening. Those prosont wore Mr. and Mrs. Harrv Raymond, Ray-mond, Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Railey, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Smith, Mr. and Mrs. George Howarih, Mr. and Mm. Erwln, Mr. and Mrs. E. O. Sowerwlno and Mr. and Mrs. George Knodle. Tho first prizes were awarded to Mr. and Mrs. Raymond, and tho consolations to Mrs. Ralloy and Mr. Howarth. Mrs. Harry Smith of this placo loft Wednesday evening for England with her children. Mrs. Smith expects to remain In England for about a year, visiting with parents and friends. She wns accompanied ac-companied as far as Salt Lake by Mrs. F. M. Davis. Mrs. Harry Raymond entertained eight young people nt cards at her homo Saturday Sat-urday evening. Those present were the Misses Faye Lodge, Pearl Kaul, Edna Kylo and Catherlno Crelghton. and Messrs. Goodjohn. Fry, Russell and Dlst-ler. Dlst-ler. Tho members of the Ladles' Aid wora entertained by Mm. M. Leroux Thursday Thurs-day afternoon. Earl Bond, who Is attending Bchool at Salt Lake, Is spending Easter vacation, with his -parents here. The student body of the high school gave a bnskot party in the high school building Saturday evening. Miss Poarl Kaul entertained the O. F. F. club Thursday evening. Luncheon was served to tho Misses Edith and Zclla Clegg. Mary Young, Faye Lodge Edna , Kyle and Catherine Crelghton. Tho Misses Blanche and Bessie Mnrks, Phillis Mallet, Amy Shields and Margaret Helmes are at homo for Easter. Tho girls are all attending SL Mary'a academy acad-emy at Salt Lake, MIbs Afton D. Ode-kirk Ode-kirk Is visiting with tho Mlsse3 Marks. |
