Show JERSEY MEN ORGANIZED. Association Will Promote Cattle and Dallylno Interests. Special to The Tribune. . PROVO, April 11. The Utah County Jersey association held a meeting in tho Commercial club rooms last night and completed Its organization. Tho following follow-ing officers were elected. A. O. Smoot, president; TV. W. Goodrldge, vice president; presi-dent; Ole B. Ol8en, Jr., secretary; Joseph A. Buttlo, treasurer, Theso, with W. A. N'uttall. form the board of directors and constitute tho executlvo committee. Tho membership fee was placed nt $1. The association starts out with the following fol-lowing members: Joseph A. Buttle. Ole I B. Olscn. Jr., "W". A. Kultall. I. A. Snoot, W. K. SpafTord, L. H. The object of the association la to promote pro-mote the Jersey cattle Interests and dairying. Meetings will be held monthly, when subjects for the bcttornicnt of the dairy business and the Jersey cattle Industry In-dustry will be discussed. At theso meetings meet-ings a general invitation will be extended to all who aro Interested In the livestock and dairy business It Is tho ultimate aim of the association to bring about a state Jersey organization. |
