Show POTATO THE SUBJECT OF CLUB CONFERENCE The Granito high school wolfaro committee com-mittee will give its first outside programme pro-gramme at the West Sido Commercial club at Hunter Thursday evening. Louis F. Boyle, president of tho National Na-tional Copper bank potato contest, will address the club. Music, recitution3 and short addresses ad-dresses by the members of the welfare wel-fare committee will form the rest of tho programme. Each member of the welfare committco has been assigned a topic. The Granite high school ouar-tctte ouar-tctte and two members of tho school's dramatic club will give vocal selections. selec-tions. Tho people of the Hunter district aro oxtrcincly interested in the potato and havo been trying for somo time to get Mr. Boyle to lecture. Nearly all the land in that district will bo devoted to tho potato growing, as it has not been usod extensively for this crop for the past few years. The commercial club of tho West side is composed of residents from Pleasant Green, Granger and Hunter. It was formed over two months ago and has given a number of interesting programmes. |
