PoterBou says that on divers occasions his smokehouse smoke-house has been entered during the nocturnal noc-turnal hours and that it requires n too ! large expenditure to keep the larder fall. He seemed positive that a search of the home of one of the residents of his street would reveal the missing meats, and asked the police to" search said premises, but the police advised him that this could not be done until a search warrant can bo obtained. |
