The comparison of the skull of these different portraits with that in the museum indicates resemblances which are sometimes striking, but tho result in no case lias been so conclusive- as that obtained ob-tained with the portrait by Franz Hals. Doctor Richer comes to Lhc conclusion that the skull In tho museum suggests as perfect a comparison as possible with that revealed 'by the portrait by Franz Hals. As regards the other portraits, their comparison with the skull docs not favor tho Idea of it being genuine. |
