OPERATE ON JAPANESE TO EXTRACT BULLET G. Nakakara, the .Tapauese who av.is shot four times by T. Nayshi. another Jap, in a quarrel at a pool hall, corner of Pourth west and First South street, Tuesday night, underwent an operation at St. Mark's hospital yesterday for the remowi of one of the bullets lodged in his back. Though an X-ray picture failod to rcA-cal the location of the bullet, it Avas found by the probe of Dr. n. B. Sprague, city physician, Avho performed tho operation. Nakahara is said to bo rapidly recovering. Nayshi is still being held in the city .-jail pending tho recovery of his couutry-man.
