The southern Fremont Fre-mont county division bill, which seekejto create tho county of Madison, passod the houso of representatives late this afternoon after-noon and will bo transmitted to tho senate sen-ate Monday. Tho measure carries with It an enabling act, which calls unon the voters of Fremont county to ratify tho action of the legislature by majority vole of the electors residing within tho county. RIgby will la all probability become be-come the county seat. Tho houso wont Into session at 1 o'clock and remained In session until G o'clock, but was unable to clear the calendar. cal-endar. It was decided to abandon the plan of having one session a day and, commencing Monday, two will be held, one In the morning and the second In the aftornoon. A bond Issue bill providing for tho sale of $10,000 in bonds, the proceeds of which are to be used by the state of Idaho for the improvement of the Lava Hot springs, located In Bannock county, near McCammon, was passed. If the measure survives the senate, the valuable valu-able springs will be made one of the most famous resorts In the state, owing lo their curative qualities.
