The Southern South-ern Pacific Is still routing all lt& through trains to and from tho coast through here. Yesterday fifty-two passenger trains passed through Pocatollo and It Is taxing tho energy of the railroad officials of-ficials to handlo the amount of traffic over a single track. Nevertheless Superintendent Su-perintendent Stevenson Is delivering tho goods and everything Is moving along-beautifully along-beautifully on tho Short Line. It is tho only transcontinental lino In operation through tho northwest. Dr. W. A. Wright, division surgeon of thc Oregon Short Line, with headquarters at Pocatollo. has Just returned from an extended eastern visit. Pocatollo is to have a new business block on East Center street, between Third and Fourth avenue, to bo erected by Blstllne brothers, tho lumber dealers. Workmen began yesterday to remove thc framo structures on tho building site, which will be replaced with a modern two-stpry brick. 30xC0 feet. The building build-ing will be used chiefly for the offico force, while four lots in the same block will bo used for yards. Tho lot upon which tho Blstllne brothers arc building wns purchased from N.
