Show I VARSITY WILL HAVE STRONG BASEBALL TEAM The til si call for baseball men -was made at the university Tuesday afternoon, after-noon, with the result that thirty men showed up, all eager to make the varsity var-sity team. Among the number arc many of the best players In the state, and the outlook for a good team this year is exceptionally ex-ceptionally good. Of the old men who have signed up for positions are ico Larson, captain: Tom Morrow, Tom Sncdden. Art Nlelson. "Stew", Taylor anil Gwin Lewis, all Of whom have played on the varsity team in former years. Larson has been pitching for the varsity var-sity for two years, and last year the varsity var-sity succeeded in winning the intercollegiate intercol-legiate championship. Lnrsen Is a good, steady twlrler and has always shown great ability to put the men out In one, two. throe order, especially in a pinch.
