Show SANPETE WOOLGROWERS AND FORESTRY SERVICE Special to Tho Tribune. EPnRAIM, March 8. Tho annual meeting of tho Sanpete County Wool-growers' Wool-growers' association met In this city yesterday yes-terday afternoon at tho city hall, 'which was crowded to Its utmost capacity. Tho meeting was called to order shortly short-ly after 3 o'clock, after the arrival of the trains. The constitution and by-laws wero road, after which now members were admitted. Tho name of the association was changed from the Sanpete County Woolgrowers' association to the National Forest Grazers' association. James Mon-son Mon-son of Mount Pleasant was elected president presi-dent for thc ensuing year and N. l Aagaard vice president. Thc rules wero suspended and tho prosldent-clcct. wns allowed to select his own secretary and treasurer. An advisory board was elected, which consisted of the following. F. C. Jensen, Mount Pleasant: A. R. Anderson. Fair-view; Fair-view; Adelbert Anderson, Ephralm; Luthor Tuttlo, Jr.. and P. C. Madsen, both of Mantl; John C. Mcllor. Fayotle; Andrew H. Anderson, Fountain Green, and W. S. Orm, Nephl. Supervisor A. W. Jensen spoke for somo lime nnd stated that he wished tho advisory board would co-operate with him In seeing that the reserve would bo run In a manner most beneficial to all concerned, and stated that he would recognize them In all matters pertaining to Grazing. It Is expected that a more frlcndlv reeling will bo exhibited between be-tween the forest service and tho shceep-men shceep-men than then; has boon In thc past. The subjoct of spring and fall dipping was brought up and discussed vory forcibly pro and con. A resolution asking tho state board to compel all herds to bo dipped In the spring was finally voted down. |
