Show Religious Advancement. Special to Tho Tribune. EUREKA, Sept. 17. Since Rev. ID. A, Lemolne, took charge of thu Episcopal Epis-copal church in this city about three months ago. tho congregation has rapidly increased. The church building has been removed onto a. lot just south of whore it originally stool, and a line parsonage has been erected on the vacant lot for the use of the paslor and his family. The choir of the church has been reorganized reor-ganized nnd Is now one of the finest In I Tlntlc. Bishop Spuldlng visited this parish par-ish on Sunday last and administered communion com-munion and admitted several members Into the church. Ho was highly pleased with the progress of church work In this district and predicted a bright futuro for Rev. Lomoino. Rev. Father P. J. Mannloro of St. Patrick's Pat-rick's church has been in Salt Lake during dur-ing the week, attending the obsy;ules of the late James P. DrFscoll, who was for many years postmaster of this city and an earnest worker in tho advancement advance-ment of St. Patrick's church and St. Joseph's school. |
