Show CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTION LAW TO BE TESTED By Associated Press. DENVER, Sept. 17 The supreme court on Monday will be asked to lake to original orig-inal Jurisdiction in the matter of con- stltutionallty of tho law, passed by the last, general assembly, prohibiting campaign cam-paign contributions by others than candidates, candi-dates, and in lieu thereof, binding the state to pay party organizations twenty-flve twenty-flve cents for each voto cast for thoir tickets at the preceding stato election. Today George Bradley, Democratic state chairman, demanded of Stato Auditor Au-ditor Kenehnn a warrant for $32,000, tho amount the organization Is entitled to under un-der the law, but the auditor refused to comply. Stato Treasurer Calllgan told Chairman Bradley that ho would not pay tho warrant If drawn They maintain that the law is unconstitutional. Monday Chairman Bradley will ask the supreme court for an alternative writ of mandamus directing the two guardians of the state's finances to pay over the amount demanded or show cause why thoy should not do so.
