Show ACCIDENTS AT THE PARK; MINER AND BOY HURT Special to The Tribune. PARK CITV. Sept. 17. Sam Billings, while working al the Daly West mine, met with an accident today which may cost him his left hand and possibly his arm. Tie is employed as powder monkey, and as ho was trying out somo caps and powder the door of the powder magazine swung shut on his hand, exploding the shot and badly lacerating that member. Medical attention was immediately given him. but It is feared blood poisoning will result. Clyde Paul, a schoolboy, broko his arm this afternoon while playing football. The boy's arm was so badly swollen when medical attention was given him that the doctors were unable to set the bono. This is the second accident In football this season In this town. |
