Show PENITENTIARY WARDEN COMES FOR JOHNSON Fred Hillenbrand of Rawlins, Wyo.. warden of the state, penitentiary, arrived In Salt Lake Wednesday afternoon and will leave this morning for the Wyoming prison with K. P. Johnson, formerly of Salt Lake, who broke from the 'Wyoming penitentiary some weeks aco aud was arrested ar-rested in Salt Lake, Tuesday, by Detectives Detec-tives Wilson and Goldhig. Johnson broke from the Utah poniten-llary poniten-llary Iu 1904, where he was confined on a forgery charge, and later gave himself up. It wns learned from Warden Hillenbrand Hillen-brand that in the prcseut instance, when Johnson was arrested, he was making overtures with the Wyoming sheriiX's of-flce of-flce to again give himself up. The Salt Lake detectives, however, will receive the $100 rew3id. |
