Many matters of a routine nature wero transacted by the members of tho Salt Lake Real Estate association at tho regular sctni-monthl- meeting of the organization at the Commercial club, Wednesday afternoon. W. Ti. .Jones was elected a 'member of the association by u unanimous vote. The secretary was direct eH to send photographs, of the prominent points about the city to the Sacramento Union and to the Chicago Hebrew Institute, which is collecting data. on. the different cities of the west. Literature and pictures describing the city will be sent to both of these organizations. or-ganizations. The inquiry of W. H. Newell of Los Angeles regarding farm lands in the state and about the opportunities oppor-tunities for parrying on the. chicken business here were also referred to the secretary, who will answer the inquiries personally and supply all information desired.
