Alexander, deceased, the administrator has tiled a petition in tho district coiu't asking for authority to compromise a claim In the interest of the estate. In the suit of Smith & Hodgson against Clara C. Foss to recover $175, due for plans and speclllcatlons on a residence in tlio city. Judgment was rendered this afternoon for that amount in favor of the plalnlifTs. Colonel and Mrs. E. A. Dougherty of Butte. Mont., are Ogden visitors for a few da's.
