Show GMAiH-ig-EIr DUE THIS AFTERNOON Henry M. Nevius Is Expected to Reach Salt Lake at 3:30 o'CIock. Henry M. Nevius, comiiiauder-in-chicf of the C. A. P., will arrivo here at 3:20 o'clock this afternoon over tho Denver & Pio Grande railroad. He will be met, at the station by representatives of fhe Grand Arni3" in this citv. officers of the Commercial club and members of Ihe local executive committee. Col. F. M. HENRY M. NEVIUS. Storrett, executive director of the fort.v-third fort.v-third national encampment; Col. P. G. Slcafer. commander of the department of Utah G. A. P., and Fisher Harris, sccrctaiy of the executive committee, will meet Commander-in-Chief Nevius at Provo and escort him to this cii.y. Tho ladies' G. A. K. band will also be present. pres-ent. Commander Nevius will proceed at once to tilt; Knutsford hotel, where he will pass the afternoon in conference with officers of the executive committee, commit-tee, discussing matters relating lo Iho coming encampment. It is also possible that arrangements will be made for an informal dinner at the Commercial club in the oveuing- Coinmauder Nevius will take the S ; lo o'clock train over the Salt Lake Poutc to Los Angeles, where ho will visit the officials of the department of California. Ho will be accompanied to Los Angeles by Col. Stcrrott. The slay in Los Angeles will continue until Wednesday, April 2S, when ho will return here in time to be present at the exercises of the state eiicanipment'of the department of Utah on April 29. |
