When seen at the Knutsford hotel by a representative represen-tative of The Tribune, Mr. Whitting-ton Whitting-ton spoke of tho purposes of tho association. asso-ciation. sa3"ing that it was organized priinnrh- to bring about bettor legislation legisla-tion in the states throughout the country coun-try for the protection of Iho polie' holders. Embracing all of the companiesjn the United States aud cousisting of a membership of more llian 2500 jicople who wore working toward tho bol ferment fer-ment of the conditions that affect, the polic" holder, the work of tho association associa-tion was of immense, importance to the general public, Mr. Whittiugton complimented com-plimented tho men of Salt Lako who nad been instrumental in bringing about tho preseut insurance code, remarking that it was in all probabilil3" tho most perfect code in the county.
