Tho game1 was full of features throughout and the qrowd of rooteYs lined up on each side of the grounds was kept continuously in an enthusiastic en-thusiastic uproar. The playing at times was ragged, but' considerable clcon and fast ball was played by both teams. Tho work of the pitchers of both teams was exceedingly good, as hits were fow and strikeouts were numerous. Matt Gallachcr was in the box the first half and held his opponents down in great shape. Although the Granite runs were scored during his pitching, they were not due to errors, but lo nonsnpporl. Mis team-matos wero up in the air and lint Granite players scored their runs in one inning. Will Trescder rHIeved Gallachcr and pitched shutout; ball the last four innings. Luring this time he struck out eight players, three of whum were benched in the eighth. The high school now holds the load with a. perfect score, while the Granite loam dropped down to second place, with Dwo out of three games to its credit. The lineup was as follows: High School.
