INVOLVES WATER RIGHTS IN LITTLE COTTONWOOD Termination of Action Ucgnn in 1002, Affecting Alinosll 1000 Persons. Judge C. "W. Xorso Friday signed the dcerco in the famous case involving the rights. to the waters of LitUc Cottonwood Cotton-wood creek and the decree is now a mutter mut-ter of record in tho office of the clerk of the district court. The suit was filed, on July 23, 1fl02, by tho Union & East' Jordan Irrigation Irriga-tion company against the TiichardB Irrigation Irri-gation company and about 700 others interested in the water rights of the creek. Tho taking of evidence was commenced com-menced on January 3-1, 3007, and wa? continued from time lo time until Sop-tcmbcr Sop-tcmbcr 21, 3907, when it was concluded. The court in its decree adjudicates the water only among the various ditches and irrigation canals in which the par-tics par-tics to the action arc- interested. Between the year 1S4S and up to and including the year 3S06 the primary water rights appropriated by the various var-ious ditches amounted to 91.70 second feet of the flow of the stream. The Primary Bights. The e.ourl decrees that the following seven ditches arc tho appropriators of and entitled to tho primary rights in second feet.
