Lake. it is the intention, when tho now organization is well under way, to give a number of recitals aud render a number of oporns. A board of directors, who will look after tho affairs of tho choral society, and also lo conuccto'd in various capacities ca-pacities with the musical ajsocial.ion. was named Friday night, as follows: ICli Peirce, Mrs. S. N. S.'Nelden. Mrs. Thomas Wise, .1. L. Dunbar and George Midgley. Prof. J. J. MeClollnn was elect od a permanent member of tho comiuitteo. Work pertaining- to weekly practice will begin immediately. Tuesday of each week being. sot aside as the night for rehearsals.
