The most important follow: Mrs. Catherine Belcher sold to Dr. IT. D. Nilcs a piece of land ou Brighnin street, with a frontage of forty-livo feet, between Ninth and Tenth East. The sale, "which involved the transfer of .4'ly0, was consummated through Dr. J. T. Keith. Dr. Niles reports thai he expects to erect a handsome double terrace on tho property in the near future, although no plans have yet been drawn. The doctor also reports that he finds, after careful investigation of different dif-ferent localities, that real estate in Salt Lake City offers unusually attractive bargains. Jhe transfer of a five-acre tract in Forest Dale big field survey to George Bomncy & Sons compan-, through the George M. Cannon coinpanv. also was reported Tuesday. The consideration involved in-volved in the transaction was $2825, and indicates that there is a continuous attempt to acquire laud in the near neighborhood of the city to provide against tho time when the population of the city shall have spread out hevond the present city limits. The Forest Dale property was purchased for purpose of investment. |
