Show NOTICE. Notice Is hereby 'giver, by the City Council of Salt Lake City of the Intention of such Council to make the following described Improvement, to wit: Constructing cement sidewalks six (6) feel wide and four (4) Inches thick on all eight (S) rod streets, and four (!) feet wide and four (I) Inches thick on all narrow streets, from the south side of Second South street to the center lin of Third South street, and from the west lino of Ninth West street to the Jordan rlx'er, In sidewalk district No. 21, and defray de-fray the abutters' portion of tho cost and expense thereof, estimated at four thousand thou-sand eight hundred fifty-one and 42-100 (?4S51.12 dollars; two thousand one hundred hun-dred twenty-eight and 61-100 (2I28.64) dollars, or one and 5-100 (51. 05) dollars per front or linear foot abutting said Improvement Im-provement on said eight (8) rod streets, there being 2027.2S feet of abutting property prop-erty on said eight (8) rod streets: and 1 two thousand seven hundred twenty-two and 78-100 ($2722.78) dollars, or 75-100 (50.75) dollars per front or linear foot abutting said Improvement on said narrow strcetn, thero being 3630.33 feet of abut-tlne abut-tlne property on said narrow streets, by a local assessment upon tho lots or pieces of ground within tho following described district, being the district to be affected and benefited by said lmprovemsnt, namely: name-ly: SIX-FOOT SIDEWALKS. The south side of lots 2 to 17. Inclusive, block 1, the west side of lots 17 and 18. block 1. and the .west side of lots 17 and 18. block 2, Kelsey & Gillespie subdivision, block 41; tho east side of lots 1, and 30 to 49. Inclusive, block 3, and the south side of lots 29 and 30. block 3. Graeber Post Office addition, block 42. all In plat C. FOUR-FOOT SIDEWALKS. The cast sldo of lots 1, and S to 24, Inclusive, In-clusive, block 1, the west side of lots 12 to 29. Inclusive, and the east side of lots 1. and 30 to 47, inclusive, block 2 and the west side of lots 11 to 29, inclusive; block 3. Oracber Post Office addition, block 12, the south side of lots 2 to 17" llncltivc, block 2. and the north side of lots 1. and IS to 32, Inclusive, block 1. Kelsey k Glllcaplo subdvlslon, block 41, all in plat C. Salt Lake City survev. The total cost of said Improvement Is estimated at six thousand three hundred twenty-six and 22-100 (16326.22) dollars ; of which sum the city's portion Is one I thousand four hundred aeventv-four and S0-100 ($1474.80) dollars, leaving four thousand olght hundred flftv-one and 12-100 12-100 ($4851.42) dollars to ho raised bv losal assessment. All protests and objections to the carrying carry-ing out of such Intention must be presented present-ed in writing to the City ltecordor on or before the 31st day of August, 190S, being the time set ,by said Council when It will hear and consider such protests and objections ob-jections as may be made thereto.
