FOUND LIFE'S AGONY TOO HARD TO BEAR NEW TORK. Aug; IS Harry L,. Finnel. a young Inventor and son of a wealthy family of Oakland, Cal., committed suicide sui-cide here today by inhaling illuminating gas. He had been an Invalid for five years and left a letter explaining that he could not stand the suffering any longer. The following letter addressed to his brother, H, T. Finnel, of Oakland, Cal., lay on a table in his room: ' "This is more than 1 can stand, so I take this meons to end my pain. J. trust you aiuL thoso who aro dear to you to forgive mo for this act. I will say goodbye, good-bye, through you, to mamma and brothers Wcldon anil Paul. "It is moro than I can stand. Goodbye. Good-bye. (Signed) "AIRRY."
