NIMBUS ESTABLISHES NEW WORLD'S RECORD EMPIRE RACE TRACK. YONKERS. X. Y;, Axis. IS. A new world's record for six furlongs for circular tracks was made at Empire City track today when Nimbus, carrying 109 pounds, won tho first race in 1:11 1-5. The time chips two-llfths of a second off the old mark made by Roscben, carrying 117 pounds, ut Belmont Park, a couplo of years ago. Nimbus's performance perform-ance today was not as good as that of Roscben, for ho had considerable weight off. The track and weather conditions were Ideal for record breaking. Results: First race, six furlongs Nimbus won, Jacobite second, Gretna Green third. Time, 1:11 1-5. Second race, live nnd ono-half furlongs Civita won, Mariana second, Yankee Daughter third.
