Show Manager Friedman Goes to Provo Today, Where Meeting Meet-ing Is Scheduled. SUCCESSORS TO THE KM GUTS ARE DUE Well-Known Operator Says Mine Will Reward Owners Very Generously. L. A. Friedman, general manapror of tho Seven Troughs Mininir company, arrived in Salt Lako City yestcrdaj- on routo to Provo, from which -point he will lcavo for the mino at Seven Troughs, STovada. Mr. Friedman stated to Tho Tribuue that ho was iu Utah at this timo on business connected with tho Seven Troughs organizations with which ho is connected, and his knowledge knowl-edge of the present condition of tho various properties over which ho presides pre-sides is not up to date owing to his long vacation, the first rest he has taken in years. Ho said: "I am going to Provo tomorrow, where a meeting will be hold of the Soven Troughs Alining company. At this session, wc will elect new directors to take tho piaco of Jesso Knight and associated interests, they having disposed dis-posed of their Sevon Troughs Mining company holdings several mouths ago. I do not know at present .iust who will bo selected to fill tho vacancies caused by tho resignation of the Knights, but this will bo settled Wednesday. I will bring the books of the company up with me, and wo will establish a transfer oflico in Salt Lake, Vernon being the point selected for our permanent headquarters. head-quarters. "When last hoard from, the Seven Troughs management had sent the main shaft close to the 700-foot level, and the shaft should bo quito a distance below that by now. I expect that wc will be in our ore on the 750-foot level within the next thirty days, and when we do I want to say to tho Seven Troughs stockholders that they aro part owners of one of the biggest and best gold mines in the State of Nevada.
