Show I MURRAY SOCIETY ! Special to The Tribune. MURRAY, Dec. 12. About thirty schoolmates pleasantly surprised Miss Pansy Gray Wednesday at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Gray. The affair was in honor of her tenth anniversary. an-niversary. Games and other amusements amuse-ments was the order of the day. A reception was given Mondaj' evening even-ing at the Baotist church in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Parry, who camo here recently re-cently from "Wyoming. Mr. Parry will take "charge of "tho church work here. Mr. and Mrs. John A. Gillette announce an-nounce the engagement of their daughter, daugh-ter, Vesta, to Hcnrv A. Park, the wedding wed-ding to lako place Monday evening, December De-cember 2S. Mr. and Mrs. Dan Cahoon of Oasis are here to spend a few daj-s with relatives rela-tives and friends. A social event of tho week was tho dinner given at tho Fraternal hall Fri- j daj evening by the members of tho A. O.'F. The numerous guests were all seated iu the spacious banquet hall. ' After tho repast the remainder of the J ovening was Hpent in speech-making. C. J. Stark of Springvillc has been visiting here with his daughter, Mrs. Johnson. He returned to his home in Springvillc Monday. Mrs. .T. S, Cowley left for her homo in Manti Thursday, after visiting with Mr, and Mrs. Huntington for the past few days. Mrs. A. A. Bird entertained Thursday Thurs-day evening In honor of tho thirty-fourth thirty-fourth birthday of her husband, Dr. A. A. Bird. TheYc was a score or more present at the entertainment. Whist was the game played. A delicious supper sup-per was served in tho spacious dining-room, dining-room, covers being laid for twelve. A birthday cako upon which were twenty candlCB was one of the features of the tablo decorations, Roy Cahoon, who is attending school at tho A. C. U., will bo here during tho coming weok to spend the holidays with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Cahoon. F. C. Williams of Ogden was in Murray Mur-ray for a day this week on business. An enjoyable party was given at tho home of Mr. and Mrs, Daniel Jen-sen Jen-sen Wednesduj' ovening in honor of their son, James, who will leave shortly short-ly for Logan, whero ho will attend school at tho A.
