Show WIVES OF MAIL CLERKS ! FORM ORGANIZATION i A number of tho wives of railway mail qlerks met with Mrs. Leyland Graham, 999 South Xiuth East street, Wednesday afternoon, for tho purpose of organizing n branch of the woman's auxiliary of the It. M. A. The 1. M. A. is a fraternal organization of railway rail-way mail clerks, having a membership 1 of over 12,000. After so'ino time spent J in geftiug acquainted, tho following , permanent organization was effected: ' Mrs. Leyland Graham, president: Mrs. ' R. f JFanford, viee-preoident; Mrs. L. A. Houghton, recording secretary; Mr?. 1 E. W. Gose, corresponding eccrctary and treasurer; committee on bylaws and constitution. Mrs. C. E. Bean, chairman; chair-man; MrF. P. C. Ralph', Mrs. A. J. Ar nason, Mrs. J. M. Leonard, Mrs. Waller Beck, Mrs. IS. R Allen. The time of meeting was fixed as tho fi:st Wednesday in eaci month at 2:30 p. ni. After delicious refreshments were ! served by the hosto&s, the meeting adjourned ad-journed to meet with Mrs. A, J. Av-nason, Av-nason, 92S Washington street. The wives, mothers, sisters and daughters of railway mail clerks and ex-railway mail clerks arc eligible for membership and aro cordially invited to attend tho next meeting. |
