All the principal sidewalks in Murray havo been paved and contracts lot sufficient to make a tbtal of three miles of payed walks within tho city when completed. The committee whloh has tho Utaa Light and Railway company s franchise In hand at Murray, after discussing it for months past, has finally drawn up a franchise asking for a 6-ccni fare from any part of Salt Lako to the Llttlo Cottonwool Cot-tonwool crook, to go Into effect Immediately, Immedi-ately, and a 5-ccnt faro from Llttlo Cottonwood Cot-tonwood creek to tho southern limits of Murray City. The fare Is to bo reduced to the southorn limits of Murray, making a 5-ccnt fare from any part of Murray City to any part of Salt Lake City. Tho line must be extended within a short time and twenty-minute 3ervlco maintained main-tained thereon. Tho length of tho frnn-chlso frnn-chlso was decided to extend for twenty-dve twenty-dve years. |
