Show LOCAL GOHHITTEE TO LOOK AFTEB TEACHEBS i Beautiful Rest-Room Will Bo ProTided at Keith-O'Brien's Store. Out-of-town teachers attending tho state teachers annual association in Salt Lake City December 21-23, will find themselves well cared for in every way by the local committee on accom- , mo'datious, headed by Miss Etta Powers j of the Sumner school. Rest rooms v.'ill bo provided for these visiting teachers, whore they may go aud rest outside of session hours, and pen, ink and paper will be provided, and they may write lotters to their friends and relatives at will. Ono of these rest rooms will bo on the second floor of tho Keith-O'Brien immense department store on South Main street. It will accommodate at i least seventy-five at one time, and will be prettily decorated with draperies, rugs aud palms, giving it a decidedly artistic and home-like effect. To direct visiting teachers to tho rest room an immonse banneer announcing, "Headquarters "Head-quarters for Teachers," will- be flung from tho second story. Another rest room will bo provided on upper Main stroot, maybo at the Z. C. M. I., but if not there, in that neighborhood. Tho committee is now negotiating with the Z. C. M. I. for rest headquarters thero, but if tho negotiations ne-gotiations fail thoy will bo reopened with somo other big institution in that part of town. |
