Show HILLIS LECTURE POSTPONED Train Fails of Connection and Lecture Will Be Given Later. On account of his train from the West being five hours lata at Pocatello, Dr. Newell Dwight Hillis missed his connections that would have brought, him for his lecture on the Epworth League Star course at the First Methodist Meth-odist church last night. The fnct of tho delay was not known hero until very lato in tho afternoon, and a great many disappointed people were turned away from the church door. Dr. Hillis was reached by long distance dis-tance 'phone at Pocatello and was urged to fill his engagement hero to-nipht, to-nipht, but was unable to do this on account ac-count or other immediate engagements East. Ho expects, however, to come this way again in about threo months when ho will very likely deliver the deferred, de-ferred, lecture. The next number on the Epworth League Star course will be given on March 14, a concert by tho Orphous club, assisted by Mess. Shepherd, Press and Weihe, Mrs. A. S. Peters and other soloists. |
