One of the biggest real estate deals consummated during the latter part of the week was the transfer of the property pro-perty located on the east side of Main street, between Sixth and Seventh South streets, from Mrs. Zurviah G. Eardlev to Marc Liehenstoin for a consideration con-sideration of .$80,000. The transfer includes in-cludes tho ownership of twelve houses, one of them a store building, and a lot with 102 U. feet frontage on Main. 330 feet dcop and measuring 181 feet at the cast end. As the purchase is a valuable rental Mr. Lichcustein will utilize it in that why for some time. It is probable, however, that his now acquisition will soon be included in the business section proper and when that lime arrives it will be put to its proper use. While preparation for the erection of business blocks are being rushed with all possible haste, plans for other costly structures are passing through their embryonic stage. It. has rocently been rumored that the Kcith-0 'lirien building is soon to be enlarged by the nddition of several new stories. Although the structure as originally built is so constructed that it can readily bo converted iuto a ten-story ten-story building it has been ascertained from authoritative sources that no immediate im-mediate action for the purpose of enlarging en-larging the building will be taken. It has been stated, however, that just as soon as conditions warrant, such a procedure pro-cedure tho owners of tho building will comply with all the demands of the times. One of the most active operators in tho local real estate market Friday was A. J. Pendleton. Jr. During the forenoon Mr. Pendleton nnd-George A. Spiers bought, of Samuel Riebon a lot, 4914 by 167i feet, on the south sido of Fifth, between Main nud Stato streets, at $125 per foot. The deal was transacted trans-acted through Mceks & Lj'nch and George M. Campbell. Shortly after the salo was made Mr. Pondleton sold his property on Fourth West, between Seventh and Eighth South, to Mrs. Elizabeth A. Donohuo for $3000. The dimensions of the lot. are -1 V4 rods by 19 rods. Five framo houses arc now located on the lot. Little & Little negotiated ne-gotiated the sale. A deal in real estate recently consummated con-summated through Mocks & Lynch was the sale of the E. Picknoll property, on the east side of Main, between Sixth nnd Seventh South streots, to Bertha M.
