The boarcTof regents of tho University Univer-sity of Utah met at the Dcscrct National Na-tional bank Friday afternoon to continue con-tinue its work in preparing tho annual roport which is made to the Governor, relative to the expenses of the school for the next two j-ears. II was decided to recommend certain minor alterations in the plans of the buildings that are to be constructed as soon as means can bo secured. Changes in the buildings on the campus will be recommended iu order to accommodate the increased attendance which is expected ex-pected next year. It was hoped that means might be secured to complete the gymnasium, but other matters will-be will-be given precedence, as it became evident evi-dent yesterday that only the most urgent needs of the school could be at-' tended to. The construction of a residence resi-dence on the grounds for a caretaker was also placed in the category of the impossible for at least another two years. , |
