Show HIGHEST CUT SATS MB; WMMll DIE- Intervention by Gov. Folk Only Hope Left to Convicted Murderess. KANSAS CITY, Dec. S. A motion for a writ of error in the case of Mrs. Agues Myers, under sentence of death for the murder of her husband, Clarence Clar-ence Myers, a printer, was denied today to-day by Justice Brewer, in the United States Supreme Court at Washington, according to a telegram received by the woman's attorney here. Gov. Folk recently granted Mrs. Myers My-ers and Frank Hottman, who also is under sentence of death for complicity in the murder, a respite until January 10. Their only hope now lies with tho Governor. The fact that her Inst hope in the courts was gone was conveved to Mrs. Myers in the county jail" at Liberty, near Kansas City. She expressed ex-pressed no alarm over the news and said she had faith that Governor Folk would not permit her to be hanged. |
