Show GOOD COPPER ORE. Eastern Capitalists Visit Property of Bingham Coppor Company. E. M. West, of K. M. West & Co., took a party of Eastern capitalists out to look at the Bingham Copper Hill Mining company's property nt Bingham, Bing-ham, on Saturday. The tunnel on this property is in over S00 feet, and at tho faco the formation is changing to what appears to bo a near approach to tho sulphide region. They are now considerably con-siderably less than a hundred foci from the gerat copper-bearing porphyry dike. Upon this dike or ledge, which is 100 feet wide, a shaft is being sunk, at the bottom of which, about 20 feet deep, oro is taken out which will aver-ago aver-ago between five and six per cent copper. cop-per. This showing of copper oro goes clonr across the lodge, which, as stated above, is over 100 toot wide. Tho outlook, out-look, based upon present developments, is very encouraging, and the changes making in the tunnel, indicate that tho mine is n part of the great copper bearing mineral bolt, tho ores from which have made Bingham one of the greatest mining camps in tho West. It is understood that tho visitors were highly pleased with conditions as thev saw them at tho Bingham Copper Hill property. |
