Show WILL NAME SPEAKERS Judges Will Select Speakers for High School Oratorical Contest. The committee of the High school, which had I he deciding of the contestants contes-tants for the High school oratorical contest, to be held on February 21, under un-der the auspices of the Sons and Daughters Daugh-ters of the American Revolution, instead in-stead of dropping any of the contestants contes-tants who have entered, as expected, decided instead to hold a preliminary contest, and sift the number down to about eight. The preliminaiy contest will be held on the Saturday beforo the contest, aud will be judged'by mem bers of the Sons and Daughters association, asso-ciation, who will be sent down for that purpose. The entries that have been received so far are Nora W.anless, Esther Hart, Ilattie Waples, Ruth Corum, Margaret Parsons, Elics Veates. Dorothy Weber, Ivy Ensign. Edith Walkor. Tillie Hes-sleburg, Hes-sleburg, Roy Coast. Stuart Young, Lester Les-ter Moreton. and Thomas Chamberlain. The list of jt'ls is complete, but there will be two or three more added to the boys' list before the contest is held. |
