The property of the Mammoth Copper company, in Shasta county, which has been closely merged with the Interests of the United States Mining company, was visited a fow days ago by Albert F. Hol-den, Hol-den, of these companies, and it is reported re-ported that a site for a 500-ton smelter will decided upon," says the California correspondent of the Engineering and Mining Journal.
