Show BOSTON CON. LISTED ON THE EXCHANGE TO tho liBt of shares dealt In on the local exchango was yesterday added the Boston Con. of Bingham, Bing-ham, local quotations a reflex of those that prevailed during the dny in Boston. The proposition is a Bingham typical, and whilo it has not yet been equipped with a smeller, as have the possessions of the Utah Con. and United Unit-ed States, It is now reporting at the valley furnaces with 300 tons of copper, gold and silver-bearing ore dally, with this to bo exceeded as soon as facilities shall havo been provided for additional extraction. Under Its contract with the smeller the management is required re-quired to maintain an average of 3-5 per cent copper or better, whllo the statements forwarded to the general offices of the company across tho waters wa-ters and in London reveal that this Is being done without effort. With the Bingham Con 's furnaces affording reduction re-duction for the smelting ores the policy of the management now contemplates the erection of a plant In tho basin that will enable It to make a commercial proposition out of its copper-bearing porphyries, as Is being doilo by the Utah Copper company, and upon this construction will begin the present year, with dirt to fly on its foundation as soon as It Is demonstrated that the necessary water may be had. Boston Con. will no doubt llgure as one of the most active on the local board during the year. |
