Show FRANCIS PROMOTED BY THE BURLINGTON On June 1 the following changes will take place on the Burlington system: J. Francis, general passenger agent at Omaha, goes to Chicago. His place at Omaha will be taken by L. W. Wake-ley, Wake-ley, general passenger agent at SL Louis, and W. L. Lalor, assistant general gen-eral passenger agent at Chicago, will succeed Mr. "Wakeley. Mr. Francis, whose promotion has been very favorably commented on, was formerly at St. Louis, and previous pre-vious to that held the office of assistant general passenger agent at Chicago. G. Vv Vnllery, general agent of tho passenger department in Denver, is the most likely candidate for the position of assistant general passenger agent in Chicago, succeeding Mr. Lalor. Mr. Vallery Is one of the best known railroad rail-road men In Denver, where his promotion promo-tion will be very popular. A prominent promi-nent railroad man from tho Queen City, who was visiting Salt Lake, said tho other day: "That man Vallery Is tho best posted railroad man' In .Denver. You watch him when there is a promotion promo-tion on tho Burlington." |
