SILVER REPUBLICANS DISBAND Those in Fremont County IdaJ will I Return to Old Love TRIBUNE SPECIAL Boise Ida Jan 20 Secretary of State Patrio has returned from n trip to Fremont county He brings an interesting In-teresting report of C meeting of the Silver Republican county committee recently re-cently held for the purpose of disbanding disband-ing the party The meeting was held at Rexburg A number of the members mem-bers had not been notified and others found It Impossible to attend Conse quently there were only eleven present out of twentyseven All thoao In attendance at-tendance were in favor of Immediate dIsbandment as were fifteen other leading Silver Republicans who were present I was decided that thera should bon bo-n full attendance and the meeting was postponed until February 5th when It will resolve Itself Into n mass meeting Each precinct committeeman will be Instructed to get the sense of the members mem-bers of tho party In his precinct either through mass meeting or otherwise and report In person or in writing at the meeting on the Cth The straight Republicans held a meeting at the same time and a conference con-ference committee of five from each meeting was appointed to arrange for reunion of tho party The conference agreed to report to the mat meeting that the Silver Republican committeemen committee-men of the county shall be added to the Republican committeemen doubling the latter and that the Silver Republican can organization shall thereupon cease to exist Mr Patrie reports that there are no Silver Republicans In the county who do not favor disbanding at once The same sentiment seems to prevail throughout tho State I Is not likely there 0 will be anyi Silver Republicans for the Democrats to fuse with when the convention is held
